Hello Guru Prema Kosame Ra… Jeevitham!

“Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme.”

– Beauty and the Beast

That’s how we saw Gowthami and Jaswanth; two hearts that seemed destined to find each other, like lines from a timeless script finally meeting at the perfect scene while they discussed their wedding in Udaipur

Gowthami had this infectious ability to bring life into normally quiet places and shift the energy of the room entirely. Over the top boldness aside, it was absolutely unique and distinctively refined all on its very own. No one should be surprised that Jaswanth fell head over heels.

Jaswanth, ever the calm and collected one on the outside, surprised many with the old-school cinema running through his veins. A true-blue Tollywood romantic at heart, he carried the charm of the 90s with him, ready at any moment to quote lines, hum tunes, or make Gowthami laugh with references only she could catch.

The Proposal

So when it came time for the proposal, he didn’t just pop the question, but he orchestrated it to perfection. The extremely fun and romantic melody of “Hello Guru Prema Kosame ra” from the 1991 film Nirnayam played softly in the background as he asked Gowthami to marry him. It was nostalgic, cinematic and very intimate.

Gowthami had gushed to us during their haldi photoshoot, her eyes shining with mischief as she clutched Jaswanth’s arm, laughter bubbling up like champagne. “Tell them the importance of this song,” she nudged him, giggling. He smirked, slightly bashful, but didn’t resist. And then she said it, her eyes twinkling, heart wide open. “He didn’t even say I love you. He just looked at me and quoted this song!”

The Haldi

The Haldi was a riot of colour and chaos in the most beautiful way. Under the morning sun, with marigolds fluttering in the breeze, the couple was doused in turmeric, love, and just the right amount of madness. Cheeks were smeared, clothes stained in yellow, and hearts full.
During the haldi, in the midst of all the marigold chaos and turmeric-soaked laughter, Gowthami caught sight of their mehendi and couldn’t help herself. With that signature sparkle in her eyes and a smug grin, she pointed at Jaswanth’s palms and snorted, “His mehendi darkened more than mine, see?” Before anyone could react, she tossed in the punchline, “So he got a good wife, not the other way around.”

The Sangeet

Then came the Sangeet, which was nothing short of a spectacle. Lights, music, choreography, and a whole lot of attitude that all wedding photographers enjoyed. Friends turned into backup dancers, cousins into hype squads, and the couple? Stars of the night. Gowthami lit up the stage with her sass and sparkle, while Jaswanth brought the charm with moves no one saw coming. The dance floor didn’t rest, and neither did the crowd.
Every moment, from the almost too deep to breathe heartfelt moments to the dance floors exploding with laughter and desi rhythms, felt like a scene from a blockbuster film. But it wasn’t just for the capture; this was a celebration so genuine, so transparent, and irrationally gorgeous.

Every detail, from the decor to the music, was steeped in tradition and evergreen melodies. Classic Tollywood tracks floated through the palace air, turning the entire celebration into one continuous love song. It wasn’t just a wedding; it was a beautifully directed tribute to the kind of love that never goes out of style.
