Let’s Get Your Wedding Story Album Printed!

SRA07278 (1)

We know life can get a little busy after the wedding, and that’s perfectly okay.
If you’re caught up with work or simply don’t have the time, you can leave the whole album process to us!
We’ll take care of wedding album design, album layout, and preparation.
Once we’re done, we’ll schedule a Google Meet to walk you through your wedding story album and show you exactly how it will look before we go for print.
If you’d like, you can make small changes at this stage, like adding a few extra photos or swapping out some photos in the layout.

Note: If you have very specific or personalized ideas for the album, we recommend you select the photos yourself.

Album Details

You will receive one printed copy of your Wedding Story Album.
We truly recommend getting two albums! One for you to treasure and one for your family to enjoy and proudly share.

Based upon our observations this is how couples generally select the no. of albums:
80% of couples choose two albums
12% prefer just one album
8% go fully digital without a printed album

Having two albums ensures your special memories are always close to you and your loved ones.

If you want different photos in each album:
We can create a common wedding story for both albums and include special pages just for each family.
In the Bride’s album, we can add exclusive photos of the bride’s family and friends.
In the Groom’s album, we can add exclusive photos of the groom’s family and friends.
To share these separate selections, you can use different email IDs (one for the bride, one for the groom) and send the selections to us.

How to Select Photos for the Album

Tell the Full Wedding Story

Your photo selection should tell the complete story of your wedding.
Include photos from all events! Haldi, Mehendi, Wedding, Reception, etc.

Must-Have Photos

Make sure to cover:

  • All important family members
  • Key moments from each event
  • Important rituals
  • Bride and groom portraits
  • Couple photos
  • Favorite and fun moments
  • Group photos with loved ones
  • Decor and setup shots
  • Makeup and getting-ready photos
  • Family groupings
  • Most-loved memories

Capture Real Moments

Don’t skip funny, emotional, or unforgettable moments.
Your album should feel alive and personal! Let your photos speak to you.

Focus on Quality, Not Quantity

Please avoid selecting too many photos, as a cluttered layout won’t look great.
Select only the best versions among similar photos. If you see the same type of photo, pick just one.

Take Time, But Don’t Delay

The selection process needs patience, don’t try to rush it.
At the same time, try not to delay the process for too long.

Prefer Candid Shots

Choose more candid moments over posed photos. Candid photos make your album feel like a true story.

Cross-Check the Selection

Avoid doing the selection entirely alone.
If someone else from the family has selected the photos, please double-check the final selection with the bride and groom.

Make It an Experience

Select photos in a way that even guests who couldn’t attend your wedding can feel the story just by going through the album.

Optional Personal Touches

You can add a short note on the first page about how the couple met.
You can also add a closing note on the last page about the couple’s future plans.

Smart Selection Tip

Don’t think about who “must be” in the album. Focus on the moments and photos you genuinely want to keep.

Additional Instructions

Please send your wedding invite(s) along with your selected photos.
Do the selection on a laptop or computer (not mobile) for better clarity.
Arrange the selected photos in a folder and share them with us via Google Drive.

Photo Count

You can select a minimum of 180 photos and a maximum of 200 photos.
If you are feeling confused, send us whatever you have selected.
You don’t need to worry about the photo count. We will help you filter and finalize the album.
Please make sure to put your must-have photos in a separate folder.

Organizing Bride, Groom, and Common Photos

If you want to create:

  • Bride-specific album pages (featuring the bride’s side family and moments)
  • Groom-specific album pages (featuring the groom’s side family and moments)
  • Common album pages (covering the entire wedding story and shared memories)

Here’s how you can do it:
Use separate folders:

  • Bride Specific folder
  • Groom Specific folder
  • Common Photos folder

If easier, the bride and groom can use separate email IDs to send their selections.
We will combine the selections properly to create a common story and exclusive pages for both sides.

How to View Your Photographer’s Favorite Selections in Your Wedding Gallery

Step 2: Enter the Provided Email Address

When the gallery asks for your email, make sure you enter the exact email ID provided by us (for example: hellowhatastory@gmail.com).
This is important. If you enter a different email, the system won’t show you the photographer’s favorite selections.

Step 3: Click “Retrieve”

Once you enter the provided email, click the ‘Retrieve’ button.
This will immediately load the Favorites list carefully prepared for you.

Step 4: Go to the Favorites Section

Once your gallery loads, head over to the ‘Favorites’ tab or look for the heart icon in the menu.
This is where you’ll find all the photos your photographer has lovingly handpicked for you.

Step 5: Review and Share Your Feedback

Take your time to browse through the selection. These photos capture not just the big moments but also the sweet, emotional, and fun little details that make your wedding story truly yours.
