RAJ

I’m Raj, The Founder and Lead Storyteller at What A Story, an internationally established wedding photography and cinematography brand with over 10 years of experience and 1000+ weddings documented across India, the United States, and global destinations. My journey actually started in aeronautical engineering. I spent years studying precision, focus, and detail. But while engineering taught me discipline, my heart was always drawn to something different… something creative, emotional, and human. I discovered how much I enjoyed creativity and observing people.

I loved the way emotions unfold naturally and how every moment has its own charm. This interest slowly grew into a passion for filming and photography. The first time I held a camera at a wedding, something just clicked. I felt a strong connection to the atmosphere – the smiles, the excitement, the colours, the energy of families coming together. It felt meaningful, and I knew this was where I truly belonged.

For more than a decade, I’ve been documenting weddings across India, the US, and beautiful destinations around the world. Every couple brings a new story, a new energy, and a unique rhythm to their day – and I enjoy discovering that through my lens.

My style blends candid moments with elegant, thoughtfully crafted portraits. I focus on genuine emotions, natural expressions, and the beautiful atmosphere that surrounds each celebration. Every frame is created with care, attention, and a touch of luxury.

Wedding photography and filmmaking allow me to combine creativity, storytelling, and emotion in the most fulfilling way. It brings me happiness to craft visuals that couples feel connected to – photographs and films that carry warmth, personality, and meaning.
