Built for the Multi-Day Indian Wedding
Your wedding is the one day you’ll want to relive, so we build the photos and the film to let you, shot by a single crew across New Jersey so the two never drift apart. As an Indian wedding studio, we read the run of the day by heart, the baraat, the pheras, the vidaai, and bring the team to cover it at full 500-guest scale.
Wherever your muhurtam and your venue take you, we film every ritual and give back the complete story.
The Work, Up Close
Baraats, mandaps, sangeet floors, and the quiet minutes between. Documentary photography, not posed lineups.

The Rituals, By Heart
Knowing when the talambralu happens is the difference between catching it and missing it.
North Indian & Punjabi
baraat with the dhol, milni, jaimala, the pheras, vidaai.
South Indian
Telugu and Tamil muhurtams before sunrise, jeelakarra bellam, kashi yatra, the oonjal.
Sikh
anand karaj and the four laavan at the gurdwara, shot with the quiet the sangat expects.
Gujarati & Marwari

Multi-Faith & Fusion

Halls Built for the Baraat
42 acres, lakes, and ballrooms big enough for a 700-guest reception. The driveway entrance was built for a baraat.
The Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset
Greek columns, gardens, and a waterfall for portraits, with room for every event under one roof.
Park Chateau Estate & Gardens, East Brunswick
a French-style estate with a chapel and a grand ballroom, a favorite for the high-end Indian wedding.
The Venetian, Garfield
an Italian-grand ballroom with a staircase made for the jaimala entrance.
From Oak Tree Road to the Shore
Wherever your family is, Edison, Iselin, Jersey City, Princeton, or a venue an hour out, we cover the whole state and cross into NYC when the day calls for it.
Pricing Without the Guesswork
Every wedding is quoted on its own, because a single-day nikah and a four-day multi-event celebration aren’t the same job. New Jersey packages start at $4,000, and most land between $4,000 and $15,000, depending on days, events, and the crew the celebration needs.
From the First Announcement On
Gender reveals have turned into their own kind of party, and we shoot them the way we shoot a baraat: locked on the faces, not the smoke, because the half-second before anyone processes the news is the whole picture. Plenty of those families come back for maternity portraits, then the shower, then newborn photos, so the same person who caught the reveal is the one there for the first week home. Book just the reveal, or the whole run, whichever suits.

Straight From Our Couples

What stood out to us was how comfortable the entire experience felt. On a day that can get overwhelming, the team knew when to guide us and when to simply let the moment happen. Our wedding photos are elegant, emotional, and full of the people and moments that mattered most to us. Nothing feels forced. The quality, creativity, and care in the final gallery made us feel that our wedding was in the right hands.

Choosing a wedding photography team was one of the decisions we took seriously, and What A Story exceeded our expectations. We loved how they balanced the grandeur of our wedding with the intimate moments between us and our families. The photographs feel polished and luxurious, but still personal and real. From the composition to the smallest emotions, everything was captured beautifully. Our gallery is something we'll keep coming back to for years.

We wanted our wedding photographs to feel like us - not overly posed or staged - and What A Story understood that from the beginning. They captured the little moments we didn't even realize were happening, along with all the beautiful details we had spent months planning. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day, not just looking at photographs. Every image has so much thought and emotion behind it. We're genuinely so happy we trusted them with these memories.
